El fruto es majestuoso, maduro, carnoso y profundo. Tras una sensación inicial en la boca marcadamente suave y redonda, el vino se acomoda en el corazón del paladar, asentándose con una especie de caricia íntimamente intensa. El poder es contenido, y la impresión dominante es la consistencia. Las sensaciones sápidas convergen y persisten, dejando la memoria de su impresión táctil.
Tras aromas fugaces de rosa, aceite de naranja y azafrán, el bouquet se vuelve más cálido, dominado por frutos rojos – frambuesa y cereza – seguidos de toques oscuros de cassis y higo. La dulzura acaba triunfando, con notas de pan de jengibre y regaliz.
