Vinha da Ponte es una de las parcelas más antiguas de Quinta do Crasto con viñas cuya edad media supera los 90 años. En 2007, la combinación de baja producción de viñas viejas y uvas de gran calidad nos permitió crear un vino de excepcional concentración y complejidad. Las uvas se trituraron en una sola prensa y se transfirieron a un tanque de acero inoxidable con tapa abierta para la fermentación a temperatura controlada. Tras una crianza de 20 meses en barricas de roble francés, el vino Quinta do Castro Vinha da Ponte 2007 fue embotellado en junio de 2009 sin ningún tipo de filtración, que pueda crear depósitos en botella.
