Cosechadas a mano en su punto óptimo, las uvas se despalillan, estrujan y vinifican según un proceso que se basa en una cuidada maceración con extracción de color, taninos y aromas de los hollejos, complementada con remontados permanentes durante la fermentación. Esto se realiza en molinos, a temperatura controlada entre 28-30ºC, hasta alcanzar el grado Baumé deseado. En esta etapa, se agrega aguardiente de vino (beneficioso), creando un vino fortificado. Vino de gran calidad, procedente de una única cosecha. Envejece en madera durante periodos de tiempo variables, nunca inferiores a 7 años, y luego se embotella según las peticiones del mercado.
Color ámbar con toques anaranjados.
Boca voluminosa, bien estructurada pero a la vez elegante y equilibrada. Los sabores concentrados le dan una profundidad particular y acentúan la sensación de persistencia.
