El vino Quinta do Poço Lobo Cabernet Sauvignon tinto resultó de uvas criadas en el mejor "terroir" de la Quinta do Poço do Lobo para la casa Cabernet Sauvignon, el talón D. Júlia. Se seleccionaron las uvas que se distinguían por su excepcional estado sanitario y de maduración. En la bodega, tras el despalillado de las uvas, se llevó a cabo la maceración pre-fermentativa, la fermentación alcohólica a temperatura controlada y la fermentación post-, durante un período total de más de 15 días. Una vez terminada la fermentación maloláctica, se crió durante 12 meses en medias pipas de roble francés Allier. Fue embotellado sin ser sometido a tratamientos clarificantes o estabilizantes, por lo que puede crear sedimento resultante de la precipitación de compuestos naturales del vino.
