Como corresponde a una de las destilerías más remotas de las Tierras Altas de Escocia, Dalwhinnie tiene un carácter que destaca. Tiene la elegancia y distinción de la antigua aristocracia, pero también incorpora el cuerpo ancho y musculoso de la región montañosa y turbosa de los clanes, con notas de turba y brezo en su rico repertorio. Excepcionalmente suave y lleno de sabor, este Dalwhinnie especial ha sido acabado en madera de barril rica en oloroso, especialmente seleccionada por su equilibrio fino pero robusto.
