Las variedades elegidas para esta cosecha fueron GOUVEIO y VIOSINHO situadas en el Altiplano de Alijó a una altitud media de 600 metros, ubicadas en suelos de granito/transición con una edad media de 30 años cuya productividad ronda los 4.500 kg por hectárea. Uvas vendimiadas manualmente para cajas de 19 kg, sometidas a un choque térmico (8 a 10ºC) antes de ser procesadas.
