Aunque la propiedad está totalmente comprometida con la conversión a la agricultura orgánica, el trabajo de los enólogos resultó difícil hasta mediados de julio debido a las condiciones climáticas. Su presencia, perseverancia, rigor y observación diaria les permitieron superar con éxito estas dificultades. A partir del 15 de julio se dieron unas condiciones anticiclónicas excepcionales hasta el final de la vendimia, resultando una cosecha normal en cantidad y sobre todo magnífica en calidad. Un Merlot magníficamente fresco, una selección de Cabernet Franc muy añejos sobre suelos arcillo-calcáreos y una extracción suave hacen de esta una gran cosecha para Château Angelus. Un color profundo, perfecta pureza aromática combinada con notas de frutos negros que encantan en nariz. En boca, un ligero dulzor da paso a una tensión elegante y a taninos refinados y aterciopelados. El alcohol (menos que en 2010) y la madera están perfectamente integradas. El retrogusto es persistente, impulsado por la elegancia del Cabernet Franc y la pureza puntuada por delicadas notas de especias. Para celebrar estos momentos en los que la naturaleza toma caminos sorprendentes, en los que el tiempo lineal se abre a eso, querido por el mito, del eterno retorno. Eterno retorno, que todas las botellas de esta memorable cosecha estuvieran estampadas con la figura del legendario pájaro de la eternidad.
