Las uvas fueron cosechadas a mano en su perfecto punto de maduración en cajas de 20 kg, luego transportadas a Adega Reserva Quinta do Sol. Al llegar a la bodega, los racimos se someten a una primera selección manual, seguida de un suave despalillado, tras el cual se extraen las bayas. se clasifican antes de ser introducidos por gravedad en los pequeños tanques de fermentación. La trituración sólo se produce durante la entrada por gravedad al tanque, evitando así oxidaciones no deseadas. Las fermentaciones son monitoreadas y ajustadas para obtener lo mejor de cada variedad de uva. Sigue una maceración postfermentativa para extraer los taninos de las semillas, que complementan los obtenidos de los hollejos, favoreciendo así el desarrollo de una sensación en boca más amplia y aumentando el potencial de envejecimiento del vino.
