El ron El Dorado es un ron único, debido a que es el único ron del estilo "Rum Demerara" y posee los alambiques de madera más antiguos del mundo aún en funcionamiento, algunos que datan del siglo XVII. Un ron ámbar premium excepcional, ligeramente corpulento y envejecido en barricas ex-bourbon. El El Dorado 8 años es el resultado del conocimiento de los Master Blenders, compuesto por rones envejecidos provenientes de al menos cuatro de los alambiques de madera tradicionales, conservados en la destilería de Demerara, incluyendo el alambique Coffey original de madera Enmore y el alambique doble de madera de Port Mourant. Este ron es una fusión compleja de ron fuertemente corpulento y lleno de sabor con un ron más suave.
