Vinification of Marquês de Borba Reserva Red Wine 2019: the grapes are partially de-stemmed, carefully selected manually at the sorting table and fermented in marble lagares using traditional foot treading. This is followed by malolactic fermentation, which takes place in 2nd year barrels and ages for 18 months in half new French oak barrels.
