Complex and elegant, the Casa Ferreirinha Antónia Adelaide Ferreira Red 2014 is a limited edition of high quality, produced in homage to Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira. Arriving at the cellar of Quinta da Leda and Quinta do Seixo, after gentle crushing and total destemming, the grapes fermented in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature. During this fermentation, pump-overs and robot foot treading were carried out, with a long maceration to achieve a balanced aromatic and polyphenolic extraction. This technology aims for the quality constituents present in the skins of the ripe grapes to pass smoothly into the wine. In the end, and at the moment "required" by each variety/batch, the wine was pressed and its masses separated, with the resulting wine from the pressing kept apart from the free-run juice.
