Winemaking of Joao Portugal Ramos Vinha de Sao Lazaro Red Wine: the grapes are destemmed and carefully selected on a manual sorting table. After crushing, they are foot-trodden in marble lagares with the traditional foot pressing. Transferred to a stainless steel vat where alcoholic fermentation finishes. Followed by 12 days of post-fermentation maceration. Aging: 12 months in new French oak half-barrels.
