Pardusco Private is a red wine made exclusively from the ancient Alvarelhão grape variety, locally known as Brancelho. Through ancient Portuguese traditions, it is a red wine that ages for a long period in used barrels. After vinification in stainless steel tanks, the wine undergoes a 24-month aging in used barrels. A very original red wine, silky and with strong minerality. Pardusco was the name given to the great red wines of Monção and Melgaço from the 14th century, which were the first to be exported to England. Characterized by their light color and low extraction, made from the Alvarelhão (Brancelho) grape, they were the foundation of the glory of the Monção wine region.
