Komos is a completely unique expression of the best that Tequila can be, and Tequila Komos Anejo Cristalino is the brand's first offering. Komos is made using an exclusive five-step process: 1. Its origin comes from Agave from Jalisco, which is roasted in stone ovens located next to the Tequila volcano in Mexico. 2. Indigenous yeasts are used to ferment its juice, which is then double distilled in copper pot stills to create the Blanco. 3. From there, the Blanco matures for 12 months in French oak white wine barrels. 4. Next, the Añejo is filtered through a charcoal column to create the Cristalino, and then this liquid is placed in Greek amphorae that are used to aerate the tequila. 5. Finally, the finished product is decanted into handcrafted vitrified porcelain bottles from Mexico that evoke Greek ceramic traditions in a modern expression.
