Vinification of Cortes de Cima Reserva Red Wine 2014: The grapes are fermented without stems, at controlled temperatures, using a combination of the "rack and return" method and regular remontages, preceded by an extended period of skin maceration, which enhances the fruity characteristics of the grape varieties and provides tannic structure and balance. The wine was aged for 14 months in French oak barrels (90%) and American oak barrels (10%), during which there was a combination of the grape varieties' own characteristics and the components of the oak. It was bottled without fining and with filtration in April 2016.
