Since the beginning of the 20th century and until today, the properties where the high-quality wheat used in the production of Stolichnaya spirit is grown are located in the Tambov region, Russia, where its ultra-modern distillery - Talvis - is also located. Stolichnaya spirit is carefully distilled only three times to maintain the rich character of Russian wheat. It is at the magnificent Latvijas Balzams - a cathedral for vodka production commissioned by the Czar in 1901, in Latvia - that the production process of Stolichnaya vodka is completed. Stolichnaya spirit is filtered 4 times, first through quartz sand and then through charcoal made from Russian birch wood, and finally mixed with pure spring water, resulting in an exceptionally high-quality vodka, which is also bottled at Latvijas Balzams and only later shipped to various countries around the world. Stoli Premium is exceptionally smooth with light fruity aromas, maintaining the authentic signs of traditionally distilled vodka.
