Quinta dos Murças VV47 2017 comes from a historic vineyard, the oldest vertical vineyard in the Douro, planted in 1947, with Southeast exposure and a 40% slope. It translates the maximum expression of our terroir and its potential, which is characterized by its elegance, harmony and complexity. Winemaking Quinta dos Murças VV47 2017: Manual harvest, selection table, stemming, crushing, alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts at temperatures controlled (25º to 28ºC), in granite mills using foot treading and pressing in an old vertical press. Aging: In French oak barrels used for around 12 months.
Intense and deep, with violet hints.
Of great harmony and elegance, the very fine ripe tannins and balanced acidity stand out. It has a very long and persistent finish which, as a whole, allows us to predict great longevity
Very complex and intense, dominated by the most mature red fruits and the balsamic aromas characteristic of older vines.
