At the beginning of the 20th century, when he acquired Quinta do Piloto, Humberto da Silva Cardoso reserved for himself 10 small 50-liter barrels that he filled with the finest muscat from his estates. Since then, this muscat has been stored in the shade of the Quinta's wine cellar. do Piloto, reserved only for the family. Year after year, four generations followed the ritual of filling each barrel with the best of each harvest. Thus was born this precious and rare muscatel, which proves a century of dedication from a historic family from Palmela.
