Several plots of vineyards located very close to the sea on the Fajã dos Padres property, located on the south coast of Madeira, in the parish of Quinta Grande. In 2006 I made my first harvest with grapes harvested in Fajã dos Padres. Vinified using the open spout method, in a continuous press, this wine aged over its first four years in warehouse D (warmer). In order to preserve the elegance of the wine, in 2011 I transferred the cask to Warehouse E (cooler), where it remained until bottling. In September 2023, 1170 units were bottled, all individually numbered.
Amber color.
Round and full in the mouth, firm acidity very present balancing the entire palate. Spicy molasses flavor and a freshness that lasts in a creamy and persistent finish.
Intense bouquet, sweet notes, raisins, nutmeg, caramel, quince and ripe figs.
