Quinta dos Carvalhais Colheita Rosé 2022 is a rosé wine from Dão of exceptional quality, the ultimate expression of elegance and richness. Heir to ancient knowledge, Quinta dos Carvalhais combines experience with innovation to create very elegant wines, with flavors of intense delicacy and the unique personality of the region. The Touriga Nacional and Alfrocheiro grapes that are part of this batch were harvested and vinified separately. The harvest was carried out earlier than usual for a red wine, so that the grapes maintained good acidity and freshness. They were pressed very gently, without destemming or crushing, in a pneumatic press, with the must fermenting in an open top stainless steel tank at a temperature of about 14ºC-16ºC. The Quinta dos Carvalhais Colheita Rosé was bottled immediately after a short aging of about 4 months in stainless steel tanks.
