At Quinta do Casal da Granja, some plots benefit from a microclimate conducive to morning fog followed by warm and humid afternoons that present the ideal conditions for the development of the natural fungus known as Botrytis Cinerea. The Grandjó Late Harvest is made from a careful selection of Semillon grapes affected by the Botrytis Cinerea fungus, a natural phenomenon commonly referred to as "noble rot" and which, due to the dehydration of the grape, produces sweet and unctuous wines with very fine glyceric notes.

"On the palate, the wine fills with a voluminous sweetness and a glyceric smoothness, enhancing the various layers of flavors that were already hinted at on the nose. It finishes very long and persistent."
The aroma is very complex with notes of apricot, raisins, and honey that combine with original nuances of ripe citrus and slight toasty aromas.
