Opaque purple center, with a lively magenta halo. The nose shows the characteristic aromas of ripe fruits and jam from the Vintages of Quinta da Roêda, which combine with exotic touches of tropical fruits and subtle aromas of aromatic herbs. Notes of licorice, dark chocolate and spices reinforce its opulent character. In the mouth it is soft, smooth and rich, with a flavor of wild fruit compote. The wine's silky texture is supported by the perfectly integrated tannins that emerge at the end, giving it attractive strength and vigor. With a fine and seductive nose, a feature common to 2015 Vintage Port Wines, it will continue to gain elegance and complexity over the next three decades.
