It is worth noting that this new single-varietal Loureiro is born as an evolution of the social project Germinar, promoted by Soalheiro in partnership with a professional viticulturist and social worker by training who is part of the Producers Club and has his vineyards on the western slope of Monte do Faro in Valença, applying all his knowledge in the vineyard but also in integrating people with cognitive difficulties into vineyard work to promote their self-esteem and professional development. Germinar is made with Loureiro grapes from a vineyard over 30 years old planted on the western slope of Monte do Faro in Valença on the left bank of the Minho River, a prime territory for the Loureiro variety where the Atlantic influence is felt, marking the wine's minerality and allowing the soft floral aromas of the variety to be revealed.
