Winemaking of Herdade do Freixo Reserva Red Wine 2019: the grapes of the different selected varieties are harvested according to their ideal ripeness, in 20 Kg boxes and immediately vinified. Destemmed and transported by gravity to the fermentation tanks, this process takes place at moderate temperatures for 20 days with prolonged maceration that provides this wine with extreme aromatic complexity. Its 12-month aging in new French oak gives it remarkable complexity and elegance. Bottle maturation lasts for more than 8 months.
