The grapes from the best plots of Quinta da Mata Fidalga, after being subject to strict production control, were harvested manually into small boxes with a capacity of 18 kg. In the cellar, they were de-stemmed and crushed and subjected to pre-fermentative cold maceration for 72 hours. Alcoholic fermentation then began at controlled temperatures, which lasted for 8 days, followed by post-fermentative maceration for another 2 days. .After malolactic fermentation, it aged in 350 L French Oak barrels for 20 months.

In the mouth it is structured, voluminous and with good gustatory balance, the tannins are round. The acidity is very moderate and has good gustatory persistence.
Complex aroma, dominated by notes of black fruits, spices, tobacco, vanilla and coconut, the latter coming from the excellent wood where it aged.
