Quinta dos Murças Minas comes from vineyards planted on a slope between 110 and 300 meters in altitude. These vineyards, facing south, more exposed to the sun, produce grapes with greater concentration. On these same slopes there are several water mines, which refresh the environment and allow a balance between greater maturation and the freshness so characteristic of Murças.Vinification of Quinta das Murças Minas Red Wine 2021: Manual harvesting, selection table, stemming, crushing , alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts at controlled temperatures (25º to 28ºC) in granite mills using foot treading and pressing in an old vertical press. In concrete vats and used French oak barrels, for around 9 months.
Intense, with violet hints
Dominated by freshness and vivacity, it has firm and ripe tannins, with a well-involved acidity. Finishes long and persistent, highlighting the balance between its freshness and maturation
Exuberant and concentrated where ripe red and black fruits dominate, some floral aromas and balsamic aromas, such as rockrose
