Vinification of Borges Touriga Nacional Red: Total destemming of the grapes followed by gentle crushing. Brief pre-fermentation maceration followed by fermentation in skin contact for 6-8 days at a controlled temperature of 28 ºC with relatively frequent pump-overs. After alcoholic fermentation, a maceration period is carried out, after which the wine is separated from the pomace with which it fermented, and malolactic fermentation is initiated. All the wine ages in French and American oak barrels for 12 months.

Excellent mouth volume, with a composed structure, where we will find mature and delicate tannins that contribute to the velvety texture of this Touriga Nacional. Its initial acidity conveys freshness and youthfulness. The finish is persistent and marked by notes of vanilla.
It presents an intense yet fresh nose, marked by floral aromas, enveloped by elegant nuances of ripe red fruit. It also reveals smoky and spicy notes, well integrated and discreet, resulting from aging in wood, which adds complexity to the bouquet, in an authentic and balanced ensemble.
