Vinification of Madeira Wine Barbeito Malvasia 2007 Single Cask: This is the first time a Malvasia from the year 2007 has been bottled in the single cask harvest category. This wine was vinified in a continuous press and fortified in a semi-sweet state. It began its aging in warehouse D, with high temperatures, where it quickly gained concentration. In 2017, the cask was transferred to warehouse E, which, being cooler, allowed for a slower and more balanced evolution of the wine in its connection between acidity and sugar. In April 2024, 925 units of 500ml and 60 double magnums were bottled, all numbered.
