Champagne R de Ruinar Millesime 2016O R de Ruinart 2016 é composto por 48% de Chardonnay, 32% de Pinot Noir e 20% de Meunier, maioritariamente provenientes de Grands Crus e Premiers Crus da Côte des Blancs e da Montagne de Reims.2016 foi uma colheita marcada por condições meteorológicas extremas. Na primavera, geadas severas e chuvas intensas favoreceram a propagação do míldio, resultando em perdas. O verão, por outro lado, foi muito seco, abrandando o crescimento dos cachos de uva. Os bagos jovens, expostos a um sol e calor intensos, ficaram parcialmente queimados ou secos.
