O Pio Cesare Barolo Tinto 2022 é um Barolo clássico do Piemonte, feito com 100% Nebbiolo cultivado nas melhores comunas das Langhe, como Serralunga d’Alba, La Morra, Novello, Grinzane Cavour e Monforte d’Alba. Estagiado por cerca de 30 meses em grandes barris de carvalho e uma parcela em barricas francesas, tem teor alcoólico de 14,5%, contendo sulfitos. No copo, apresenta cor vermelho granada, aromas elegantes de rosas, cerejas maduras, especiarias doces e notas balsâmicas, evoluindo para nuances de tar, terra e sândalo. Em boca revela-se estruturado e harmónico, com taninos firmes mas refinados, acidez integrada e final persistente; pronto para consumo a partir de 2024 e com potencial de guarda até meados da década de 2040. Ideal para harmonizar com carnes vermelhas, caça, pratos com trufas ou queijos curados, deve ser servido entre 16 °C e 18 °C.
