Cartuxa Reserva Red 2019, from the Évora region in Alentejo, is a garnet-colored wine that reveals complex aromas of dried fruit, raisins, plum, fig, and scrubland notes with a distinctive refinement. Produced from Alicante Bouschet, Aragonês, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in the Fundação Eugénio de Almeida's oldest vineyards, it stands out for its broad structure, intense tannins, and persistent flavor. After careful fermentation and 15 months of aging in new French oak barrels, followed by 48 months in the bottle, it offers a classic and elegant profile that honors the tradition of the Carthusian monks since 1587.
