Deep purple black color. The complex and seductive nose has the archetypal Croft opulence but displays impressive depth, background and aroma reserves. A rich, powerful fruitiness provides the backdrop for heady aromas of flower and rock rose. Delicious flavor of ripe wild fruits appears on the palate. The velvety texture of the wine is supported by tense, muscular and perfectly integrated tannins, which provide resistance with an attractive firmness and vigor at the end. More virile and structured than some recent Vintages from this classic house, the 2011 displays all the rich ripe fruit and exotic, perfumed character associated with the Croft house style.
