O lote integra vinhos com uma média de 10 anos de idade.Vinificação do Porto Borges Soalheira 10 Anos Tawny:A pós receção das uvas, que deverão chegar à adega em perfeitas condições, efetua-se o seu esmagamento e desengace. Fermentam 3 a 4 dias com as películas, regularmente imersas por remontagens, para maior extração de cor e aromas. Segue-se a separação das películas do mosto e neste é adicionada aguardente vínica a 77% v/v, para que o vinho apresente 19,5% de álcool e 90 a 120 g/l de açúcares redutores da própria uva. O envelhecimento decorre em tonéis de pequena capacidade e cascos de madeira (pipas e meias pipas).
