Vinification of Aguardente Velha Ramos Pinto: the preparation of the batches, their reductions and aging are continuously followed, year after year, until their perfect ripeness. Portuguese oak casks aged with Port Wine are used. Through this process, the spirit acquires certain types of tannins and phenolic substances that contribute to the bouquet and characteristic flavor of “Aguardente Velhíssima”

It presents a soft, warm attack, with a velvety and harmonious prolongation. Complex, persistent finish, with a pleasant bitterness characteristic of its old age
