Vinificação e maturação: foram feitas 3 vinificações: na 1ª cuba, enchemos com 1/3 de uva esmagada, 1/3 de uva com cacho inteiro e 1/3 de uva esmagada. Na 2ª cuba fizemos uma fermentação a 27ºC com uva esmagada e remontagens suaves diárias. Na 3ª cuba colocamos uva esmagada. Começamos por fazer uma maceração pré-fermentativa a 10ºC durante 5 dias, de seguida fermentação a 27-30ºC e no final foi feita uma maceração pós-fermentativa a 30ºC, durante 10 dias. Da 1ª e da 2ª cuba tivemos vinho a fazer FML em cuba (20%) e em inox (80%). Da 3ª cuba, todo o vinho fez FML em barrica. As barricas utilizadas são de 225L e 500L, usadas, de carvalho francês. O vinho esteve em estagio em barrica e em cuba durante 3 anos e 2 anos em garrafa.

A boca tem um ataque firme e definido, com grande frescura e tanino polido, num corpo elegante e envolvente. O vinho termina num final volumoso, delicado, longo, persistente e difícil de esquecer.
O terroir está impresso nos aromas, na textura e elegância deste Alfrocheiro. Tem notas florais, de fruta preta e silvestre, cedro e cera de abelha, nuances resinosas, de floresta, musgo, pinheiro, "sous-bois" e um toque mentolado.
