The Redoma Red has had the mission to reflect both the beauty and the harshness of the Douro Valley. In 2018, they continued to produce lighter and more elegant wines, with less color than previous editions, and with less extraction, due to the use of stems in its vinification and prolonged aging in a barrel. The grapes of the Redoma Red 2019 come from old vines on the left bank of the Douro River.
