As uvas são cuidadosamente selecionadas em videiras com idades entre os 80 e os 120 anos, plantadas na vinha do Vale de Cadoiços.A vinificação decorre em lagares, com pisa a pé e utilização do engaço, recuperando uma prática tradicional que continua a revelar-se especialmente adequada à casta. Seguem-se dois anos de estágio em carvalho e um período de repouso em garrafa, que conferem ao vinho elegância e equilíbrio, preparando-o para evoluir e ser apreciado ao longo de muitos anos.
