A aguardente Mosca foi criada em 1937 como Aguardente Moscatel Bagaceira, e viveu até meados dos anos 80. Foi, ao longo da sua história, uma das mais famosas e prestigiadas aguardentes. Com estágio em cascos de madeira velha utilizados no envelhecimento do Moscatel, o relançamento desta aguardente pretende recuperar e preservar uma antiga tradição da José Maria da Fonseca no domínio das aguardentes especiais. O objectivo é apresentar uma aguardente diferente e voltar a ser uma referência.
