Still in the maturation phase (ideal for consumption between 2031 and 2065), this second wine from the prestigious Château La Mission Haut-Brion impresses with its elegance and balance. Described as seductive, fresh, and engaging by various critics, such as Jane Anson (94/100) and Jeb Dunnuck (92–94/100), the 2020 presents notes of black fruits, chocolate, spices, and crushed stones, with firm tannins and vibrant acidity. A remarkable example, rivaling great vintages like 2010 and 2016.
