Description
To celebrate the wedding of HRH Prince Harry to Meghan Markle on Saturday 19 May 2018, this rare 1982 Tawny was selected by the Symington family from among the finest wines in their collars.
This 1982 Port was aged in seasoned oak barrels in the original 1890 Graham's Lodge and has a wonderful golden tawny color, with an amber-orange rim. The nose is beautifully aromatic with a magnificent array of vanilla, soft caramel and quince, combined with exotic, spicy notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. In the mouth it is velvety, with polished elegance and notes of honey, raisins and caramel, perfectly balanced by a backbone of orange zest acidity and fine-grained tannins. The finish is smooth with a nutty and almond flavor that lingers on the palate.
