Bastardo, al igual que la Malvasía Preta, está plantado en la Quinta das Carvalhas, a una cota relativamente alta, pero orientado al sur. Todos los años, la variedad Bastardo es la primera en ser vendimiada entre las uvas tintas, siendo conocida por tener un ciclo de maduración corto, así como por ser sensible a la podredumbre en la fase de sobremaduración. Creemos en esta variedad no solo por su adaptabilidad, sino sobre todo por su fortísimo carácter varietal, donde su intensidad aromática y en boca son verdaderamente impresionantes. La fermentación se lleva a cabo en pequeñas cubas de inox con contacto pelicular, seguido de un envejecimiento de 12 meses en barricas de roble francés usadas.

Un vino que destaca por su intensidad y elegancia, donde en la cata se muestra completamente noble y seductor, con un tanino fino y una inmensa frescura. Termina con una acidez vivísima, ofreciendo inmensa satisfacción y buena aptitud gastronómica.
En la nariz se destacan aromas afrutados, de grosella y frutos del bosque, revelando complejidad y carácter.
