Callabriga is a Douro red wine with a contemporary, intense and elegant profile, created to reflect the versatility and exciting current nature of Douro wines. Callabriga is one of the most innovative wines from Casa Ferreirinha, the brand with the greatest tradition in quality wines in the Douro and one of its biggest global references. It is vinified in the Quinta da Leda wine cellar, from grapes coming from plots located in the Quinta and of neighboring vineyards. Grapes with balanced maturation are chosen, a consequence of a favorable vegetative cycle. After de-stemming and gentle crushing, the grapes are sent to stainless steel vats and/or presses, where prolonged maceration takes place. The aim of this technology is that the quality constituents, present in the skins of ripe grapes, pass smoothly into the wine.
