Quinta dos Frades Grande Reserva TintoCastas: Vinhas Velhas com 23 castas identirficadas. Predominância de Touriga Franca, Tinta Amarela, Tinta da Barca, Tinta Carvalha, Tinta Francisca, Tinto Cão, Bastardo, Rufete e DonzelinhoEstágio: 12 meses em barricas novas de carvalho francês, com tosta ligeira. Mínimo de 12 meses de estágio em garrafa. Este tinto resulta da selecção das melhores parcelas das vinhas velhas da quinta que, a cada ano, são avaliadas em função do ano vitícola. O período de maturação é acompanhado passo a passo, sendo feitas análises qualitativas da maturação das uvas, quer sensoriais (prova na vinha), quer em laboratório.Só em anos extraordinários tomamos a decisão de fazer o vinho Quinta dos Frades Comendador Delfim Ferreira. É o vinho da quinta com maior potencial de guarda (>20 anos).
