Vinification: The grapes, coming from Old Vines, were transported in food-grade plastic boxes and subjected to a rigorous sorting at the entrance of the winery. After a gentle crushing without destemming, they were sent to a traditional lagar where they were trodden by men at regular intervals. Subsequently, wine spirit was added, thus stopping the fermentation. Aging: Quinta do Crasto Vintage aged in 9000-liter oak barrels, where it remained for approximately 2 years. It was bottled without any fining or filtration, being subject to create a slight deposit during its aging.
