Na boca, demonstra bem a essência da casta pelo seu tanino muito estruturante, sedoso e persistente.
Vinho de perfil varietal muito puro, onde a casta demonstra a intensidade dos frutos pretos e vermelhos (amoras, groselha negra, ameixa preta e frutos do bosque silvestres) e algum fruto azul a lembrar mirtilos, mas sempre equilibrado pelas sensações florais de pétalas de rosa.
