Krohn Colheita 1983 Die Colheita Portweine sind wahrscheinlich die am meisten geschätzten und anerkannten Portweine von Krohn. Die Colheita-Portweine stammen aus einem einzigen Jahr von hoher Qualität und müssen mindestens sieben Jahre in Holz reifen. In der Regel werden sie erst kurz vor dem Verkauf abgefüllt, was oft lange nach dem siebten Jahr geschehen kann. Aus diesem Grund verbleiben unsere Colheitas über einen langen Zeitraum im Holz und erwerben im Laufe der Zeit eine charakteristische Mahagonifarbe alter Weine sowie ein feines und komplexes Bouquet, Noten von Nüssen und Haselnüssen und eine seidige Textur. Während der Reifung im Holz unterliegen sie der qualitativen Kontrolle des Instituts für Weine des Douro und Porto. Andererseits müssen sie nach der Abfüllung auf dem Etikett das Produktionsjahr und das Abfülldatum angeben. Das Risiko, dass sich Ablagerungen am Boden der Flasche bilden, ist gering, da diese größtenteils in dem Holzbehälter zurückgehalten wurden, in dem der Wein gereift ist. Nach dem Öffnen der Flasche ist es nicht erforderlich, sie am selben Tag vollständig zu trinken – es reicht aus, sie gut zu verschließen, und sie kann unter diesen Bedingungen lange aufbewahrt werden. Bei der nächsten Öffnung wird sie dem Verbraucher ein Aroma und einen Geschmack von nahezu unberührter Zartheit bieten.
