Frisches und reichhaltiges Profil mit komplexen Noten, die aus seinem Alter stammen. Der Jahrgang umfasst Weine mit einem Durchschnittsalter von 10 Jahren. Vinifikation des Porto Borges Soalheira 10 Anos Tawny: Nach dem Empfang der Trauben, die in einwandfreiem Zustand in die Kellerei gelangen müssen, erfolgt das Zerdrücken und Entrappen. Sie fermentieren 3 bis 4 Tage mit den Beerenhäuten, die regelmäßig durch Umwälzungen eingetaucht werden, um eine bessere Extraktion von Farbe und Aromen zu erreichen. Es folgt die Trennung der Beerenhäute vom Most, und diesem wird Weinbrand mit 77% v/v hinzugefügt, damit der Wein 19,5% Alkohol und 90 bis 120 g/l reduzierende Zucker aus der Traube aufweist. Die Reifung erfolgt in kleinen Fässern und Holzbehältern (Fässer und Halbfässer).
