Description
Vinhos Barbeito was founded in 1946 by Mário Barbeito de Vasconcelos. With this Madeiran DOP we began, in 2017, another adventure in our already long journey of making wine. We prepare our Verdelho vineyards located in Raposeira (South coast) and requalify others located in Seixal (North coast) in order to produce grapes with the ideal character for a still wine. This Reserve resulted from the mixture of Verdelho da Raposeira with 9% Sercial do Seixal, which aged for a year in used French and Hungarian barrels.
