Description
An 1855 Classified Growth in Pauillac, Château d'Armailhac was created by the d'Armailhacq family in the 18th century. Acquired by Baron Philippe de Rothschild in 1933, it now belongs to his descendants. The vineyard, planted with typical Bordeaux varieties, produces a complex, elegant and simple wine that combines all the aspects of a prestigious appellation. The label shows a 17th-century figure of Bacchus made of spun glass, displayed at the Museum of Wine in Art at Château Mouton.
