Vinification of Quinta das Bageiras Garrafeira White Wine 2020: the grapes for Quinta das Bágeiras wine are white wine grapes, over 75 years old. It is vinified with an open spout, most of which is placed in small 1 m³ decanters, where it remains for 24 to 36 hours to decant through natural use. At the end of this process, one or more is transferred to old wooden barrels, of 2500l, where several fermentations have already been carried out. It is bottled without any type of filter or fining (clarification process, which can carry away proteins) and not always in the same month, as the wine itself is left to decide when it is ready to bottle.
